Try without D-Fend and see if that helps. Set the sound in the game to Adlib or Soundblaster (don't recall what's available there to choose exactly now). I guess there's only Adlib available, though...

Everyone, i just starting using dosbox and i think its pretty good!
As of right now i'm playing an old time favourite DynaBlaster.
Thing is, i runs smmothly i just can't here a thing! :whistle:
The odd noise will be made if the bomber dies but thats it... anyone able to help!?

no, bomberman LOOKS exactly like dyna, and.. bomberman is multiplayer based while dyna has superb sp mission=)

btw: theres dyna.cfg with

With DOSBox I got some in-game sounds like bombs exploding and destroying walls, but no music whatsoever.

However, with VDMSound I got neither.

I can't find that option in the game, so I suppose you meant to change that option in DOSBox.

I already had dyna.cfg, and replacing did not help. I still don't have any music, just some in game sounds, same like overlord.

What are your DOSBOx sound settings?

Is there a setup/install program that we are missing? If yes, can you please create zip file with that program and attach it somewhere for download?

Haha, Dynablaster is great. When I got it for the amiga it came with one of those 4 player adaptor things that plugged into the serial port. We mostly used it to play Base Jumpers though... oh the good old days

The Bomberman franchise is still going well, there's recently been a new game on the PS2 called 'Bomberman Hardball' which has tennis, golf, baseball and of course the regular style of play with lots of new modes and additions, it's absolute gold.

Dyna... . I don't remember when I play this last time, but it was some years ago... . Me and my brother don't sleep lot of nigts... . This is my ,,one of the legendary games'' near Capitan Claw, Doom, Blood.

Dynablas is working for me on XP without DOSbox and it has also sound. But maybe it is not downloaded from here. It is also not in "windowed" mode but only dynablas is on the screen. I have also level codes if someone like to know I can post here. :)

The biggest fun was, to play it with friends. :)

I was playing Dyna in mid 90es and was writing down passwords. Once I re-entered the password and must have entered some letter wrong. I was on world 3 and suddenly I got tons of bombs with veeeeery long flames. Never understood how that happened. But yeah, obviously it was a way to trigger some cheats as well.
