Deadlock - Planetary Conquest

Just wondering if it's abandonware. Was a pretty fun game and I still have a burnt copy, but the graphics are a bit messed on it.

I remember that game far out that was alot of fun. I wonder if ive still got the version i bought, like most of the games form then its prolyl scratched to hell and back.

The lack of a real campain was pretty lame i thought, specifc missions and breifings would of made it alot better imo.

did u ever play multiplayer? anygood?

Nope, just the campaign. I thought it was pretty fun and all the sides were kind of neat. Thought it might be an alright addition to site since it's a classic. I also noticed the made a Deadlock 2 but I've never tried it.

thats a review i found of it incase u never saw much of the game, its not given a good rating but the screenshots look very much like the first game, i would be interested in playing number 2 just to see it.

Btw Durak i think were the only ppl on this forum that played the game.

If i find my copy of it do u want to try out hte mulitplayer some time?

Hey, i'm new here and i just wanted to suggest some ideas. I say and emphasis suggest because i don't want to act like a noob trying to find games quickly without building reputation....newayz...There were a few games that i grew up on playing and now i have lost somehow. I'm pretty sure these games are good and could benefit alot of ppl trying to search for em - I've been looking for ages ...

Deadlock1 - mad strategy game, is it abandonware?

Island of DR Brain -veryexciting game indeeed...hehe

Well, if you check out the "Help us out (please)" in the "Announcements" Forum...There you can see all the games, that are already uploaded but lack reviews...

But, if those games are really good...they might advanc in the cue (Or if someone Reviews them)

I've played deadlock - the game is very good. I agree that it didn't have much of a campaign (sp?) but its other features made up for it. I never played the second one either, I think that they ruined it but then again i havn't played it :D

I once had the first one but yrs of being in my draw somehow bent the cd in 2...sniff :( :( , oh well i spose sometime in the future it will become abandon ware that we can get....

I'd suggest buying Deadlock II, rather than the original--more fun. And be sure to download the patch that makes the enemy AI better.

Okay, how do I get in touch with this mythical "david"? I thought I might be able to search for "david" but there is no david that is a moderator they all say newbie. I also tried to send some sort of a personal message but it doesnt appear as though this forum has that capability.

Fallen Haven is fair game though right? I have a copy sitting next to me and I saw the manual for it as recently as a few months ago, it's floating around here somewhere. I need to talk with someone about getting it set up for everyone to enjoy. As of right now I think I can force it to work on XP, if by work you mean holding tin foil and hopping on one foot while not looking directly at it and slaying a she-goat to the dos gods right before hitting .exe.

Need some help with getting it a bit more stable.

Yea I can give you a review of it, if I can get it running again. Last time I played it was probably 2004. I might just dust off the old Win98 computer in my closet to review it and for screenshots, I think there are a lot I could snag off the net for it.....it doesnt have a wiki though :-(. I replied to your PM.

How do I go about getting something viable off the CD? I have Nero 7 if that helps, but other than that I am dealing with pretty much stock windows XP Pro. Also I wont be able to do much work on it till at least next week.

Can you walk me through the steps I need to take from it as a CD to get it to digital only. See it wont do much good if I can get everything to you to install it and it still not work without the CD.
